Kirby Vaccums

Kirby's are still sold the old-fashioned way ... door to door. I've only had one experience with someone from Kirby coming to my house. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it was a stereotypical door-to-door salesman experience.
The experience is somewhat of a chess game, and you should be aware of what they are doing so that you are on solid ground. The visit is not just about whether or not the vaccum is good and whether or not you need one.
They may first try to give you something for free. They will definitely want to give you a free demo. The reasons for this are that 1) if they give you something free, then you will subconsciously feel obligated to them and 2) once they're in your house, it's more difficult for you to get rid of them without being downright rude.
Keep these things in mind.
