Frigidair is one of the largest and oldest appliance manufacturers. They don't quite have as a big a name as Whirlpool or GE, but they're close behind. They make all the large appliances - washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, refridgerators, freezers. Because they don't have the biggest name in appliances, you may find them to be a little less expensive sometimes. If you find good prices on frigidairs, then they're definitely worth considering. They should last you a while.
