Vaccume

When buying a new vaccume, there are so many choices these days that you really need to first decide exactly what you need from a vaccume cleaner.
Do you have a lot of pet hair or anything else that's hard to get out of carpet? Will you also be vaccuming linoleum or hard wood floors? Some vaccumes don't work so well on non-carpeted surfaces.
Do you have stairs? If so, you may want to make sure your vaccume cleaner is light enough to easily carry. Some vaccumes these days are getting pretty heavy. You also may want to have a nice long hose attachment for the stairs.
Once you know what you need, you won't need to pay more for a vaccume that does things you don't need.
