Dremmel tools have a remarkable range of attachements and accessories for different jobs. There are a number of different saw attachments for different types of cutting. There are sanding attachments and polishing and buffing attachments. Drilling and router bits. There's a planer attachment for anyone who lives in a house that keeps shifting so the doors don't fit in the frames. And the list goes on. Some of the bits and attachments may wear out and need to be replaced from time to time, but many won't. It shouldn't be much different than owning a bunch of different tools for the same jobs.
