GE is one of the top appliance manufacturers, and they make some good appliances. You need to shop around to see where you can get the best prices. But in some stores, GE may have the best deal. Don't buy their cheapest models of anything, because they probably won't last a long time. But their mid range stuff may be a better deal than some of the other major brands.
