My mom bought a kirby and had it for fourteen years untill she passed away. Now I have that very same kirby and have had it four three years and it still works fine. If you take care of them they will last. Would I buy another Kirby when the one I have dies? YOu bet. My mom bought a vacume and paid good money for it and it was the last one she ever bought. That sounds good to me. But thats just my opinion.
